Introduction for Photoshop and Starting of magazine

In this lesson we were taught the basic workings of photoshop. we learned skills such as adding text, merging images, cropping, backgrounds,manipulating images, changing gradients and contrasts, fonts and the magic wand tool etc. 

After listening and learning the basic skills of photoshop i then transported my image in to an A4 photoshop document and started working on my magazine cover. I first chose a picture to use for my cover and added a christmas theme background as i am creating the December issue. i then added headlines and manipulated the text to suit it to the style of a pop magazine. i obviously added a barcode, price, date, website etc to the magazine as these are the conventions of a normal magazine. lastly i added a promotional offer which says free key ring for every reader which would attract buyers and encourage them to buy the magazine.
